Foundation for Landscape Studies

WEBSITE
The Foundation for Landscape Studies is a non-profit whose mission is to foster an active understanding of the importance of place in human life. The website focuses on topics of interest to those involved in both the study and practice of landscape design, with sections on people, places, and publications, as well as links to the organization’s biannual publication Site/Lines, a gallery of photographic slideshows, recipients of their annual awards programs, and events they’ve organized. The site also includes a resource page with links to related topics and access to an interactive collection of rare books we helped develop. With programming by long-time collaborator Murphy Web Consulting, the site has gone through multiple phases of refresh since it was first created in 2005.
